Manali is a resort town nestled in the mountains of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh near the northern end of the Kullu Valley in the Beas River Valley. It is located in the Kullu district, about 270 km (168 mi) north of the state capital, Shimla, 309 km (192 miles) north east of Chandigarh and 544 km (338 miles) northeast of Delhi, the national capital.
Manali is a cosmopolitan place where Tibetans, Ladakhi, Kashmiri, Kullvi and Lahuli people reside. These people often came to do business at this place and slowly settled here. The main occupation of the local people is Tourism, Farming, Horticulture, handloom industry.
Kullu is a municipal council town that serves as the administrative headquarters of the Kullu district of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the banks of the Beas River in the Kullu Valley about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of the airport at Bhuntar.
Naggar is situated on the left bank of river Beas at an altitude of 1,800 meters, Naggar is an ancient town in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It was once capital of the Kullu kingdom.
Rohtang Pass: Cross the bridge over the Manalsu River and explore the various riverside cafes, gorge on lip-smacking food with music and enjoy peaceful strolls by the Kullu River here.
Solang Valley: Fondly known as ‘Snow Point’, the valley offers spellbinding views of majestic peaks. It is especially famous for adventure sports.
Old Manali: A favourite with backpackers and solo-travellers, Old Manali is just a 15-minute uphill walk from New Manali, and charms you with its hippie cafes and lively markets.
