Tata Steel Zoological Park:Only privately operated zoo in India by a Corporate house. Major attraction being Mandrill, African Lions, white tiger, Zebra and butterfly park. Visitors can also avail the opportunity at zoo Information centre to touch an Ostrich egg shell or a shed deer antler or a bayas nest.
Bhubaneshwari Temple:The Bhubaneswari Temple finds mention in two of the plays of Rabindranath Tagore titled 'Rajarshi' and 'Bisharjan'. The Temple was built on a 3 feet high paved terrace. The roof is fashioned in the typical four chaala-styles. It has stupa like crowns in the entrance and core chamber.
