Kota previously known as Kotah, is a city in the southeast of the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located about 240 kilometres south of the state capital, Jaipur, situated on the banks of Chambal River. With a population of over 1.2 million, it is the third most populous city of Rajasthan after Jaipur and Jodhpur, 46th most populous city of India and 53rd most populous urban agglomeration of India. It serves as the administrative headquarters for Kota district and Kota division. It is popular among the youth of India for its coaching institutes for engineering and medical entrance examinations. Many students come to Kota to prepare for the JEE, NEET and many other competitive exams, making it an Edtech city.

City Palace Garh: The foundations of the palace were first laid in 1264 C.E. by Prince Jait Singh of Bundi State on the spot where he sacrificed the chief of the Bhil tribe Chieftain Koteya (previous ruler of the region) and buried his severed head.
Seven Wonder Park:It is just on the lakeside of Kishor Sagar lake in Kota, these seven wonders are miniaturised version of great structures and monuments in the world like Eiffel Tower, Leaning tower of Pisa, Pyramids, Taj Mahal etc. Beautifully built, they are a treat to the eyes and look majestic near the lake providing a beautiful vista.
Godawari dham Temple: It is located on the bank of river chambal and dedicated to lord Hanumanji. Uring Saturday and Tuesday thousand of devotees took visit here. There were also small idols of Hindus gods and devotees.
